WILLIAM SAYLES

INDUCTED OCTOBER 29, 2022

William Sayles played men's basketball at then-Michigan Christian College from 1986-1988 when the university was only a two-year junior college.

William prepped at Harper Woods Notre Dame High School. While playing at MCC, William averaged 20 points a game and earned United States Collegiate Athletic Association All-American honors in 1988. He also wrote himself into the record books with a 50-point game against Ohio Valley College. In addition, William was known as an incredible outside shooter and had an all-around elite game. He is undoubtedly one of the top players MCC saw during its days as a two-year college.

William is being inducted as a men's basketball player.
