Dr. Klint Pleasant to be honored in the USCAA Hall of Fame 2026 Class

(Rochester Hills, MI) - The United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) has announced its Hall of Fame Class of 2026, and Rochester Christian's Dr. Klint Pleasant will be inducted at the 2026 USCAA Convention in June.

Coach Pleasant recently finished his 15th season leading the Warriors, recording a record of 328-166, and has a career coaching record of 361-164.

Pleasant continued to keep Rochester Christian, then-named Rochester College, one of the top schools in the USCAA, after taking over for his father, Garth Pleasant. Pleasant aided the Warriors to six USCAA National Championship appearances, while capturing titles in 2013 and 2018, and earned the USCAA Division 1 Coach of the Year honor in 2016.

Pleasant led eight student-athletes to First Team All-American honors in the USCAA and six USCAA Honorable Mention honors within the men's basketball program.

Under his leadership, the institution garnered overall success in the USCAA, culminating in the department claiming the 2016 USCAA Director's Cup.

Pleasant joins his father, RCU Athletic Director Emeritus Garth Pleasant, in the USCAA Hall of Fame after being inducted back in 2017. They are the first father-son duo to be inducted. Pleasant was also inducted into the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan (BCAM) in October of 2025.

The class includes two former student athletes in Kaitlin Dormire (Cleary University) and Matthew Little (Andrews University), as well as two other staff members in Jim Chester (Penn State - Greater Allegheny) and Jim Heath (Apprentice School).
