CHEER EARNS SEASON-HIGH SCORE AT SAINTS SHOWDOWN
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Warriors earned a season-high score of 79.87 at the Saints Showdown on Sunday, Feb. 25, at the Sturrus Sports & Fitness Center. Rochester's score was good for a fifth-place finish - 1.07 points behind fourth-place Bethel (IN) and nearly nine points ahead of hosts Aquinas.
The Warriors' finish comes as a great momentum boost ahead of the upcoming 2024 WHAC Championships on March 10 at Siena Heights University. The Warriors placed fifth of eight teams at the Cardinal Invite the week prior with a score of 67.80, displaying continued improvement over the two events leading up to that competition. The Warriors will aim to improve on their program-record setting mark of last season in the final meet of the year.
