THREES RAIN IN FOR MEN'S BASKETBALL AGAINST LAMBTON; SECURE HOMECOMING WIN 116-59

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. - In front of a packed house, the Warriors (1-0) were able to get a dominating win over the Lambton Lions 116-59. Rochester hit 19 threes during the contest and wowed the Garth Pleasant Arena crowd with several great plays. 

Rochester's new guard acquisition Brodie Parker immediately made an impact, scoring 16 points in the first half on highly efficient shooting. Backcourt mate Gunner Walters recorded 10 assists during the contest, while also logging nine points of his own. Rochester overall had a very balanced scoring attack, with eight players scoring eight points or more during the contest. 

Senior Brandon Michrina led Rochester with 21 points in the game, including a triple on a behind-the-back pass from Walters. Senior guard Bralin Toney made a big impact on the defensive end, giving Lambton's guards trouble while scoring 17 points of his own. Rochester shot 56% from the three-point stripe during the contest and led in a major fashion throughout the course of the game.

Rochester will host the Travis Bass Classic, first playing against Saint Xavier at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 3.
