WARRIORS PREPARE FOR IMPORTANT ROAD MATCHUP WITH LTU

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - It's the start of a big week for the Warriors (15-6, 10-5) on Saturday afternoon, as the team faces the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils (13-8, 9-6) on the road, beginning a string of games against top teams in the WHAC.

BEAVERS MAKES RUN FOR CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

Blue Devil guard Brandon Beavers has had an exceptional 2023-24 campaign, currently ranking top three in the conference in both points and rebounds per game. The dynamic guard can score at all three levels and has thrived in several key matchups, including a 27-12 performance in an upset win over then-ranked #14 Lourdes. Beavers is a dangerous matchup, and the Warriors will need to key in on one of the WHAC's top players. 

ROCHESTER ENTERS IMPORTANT STRETCH

It'll be an intense week for Rochester, with the Blue Devils, #RV Madonna, and Indiana Tech on the docket. With the final month of the regular season beginning, the Warriors will need every win they can get to ensure a home game in the 2024 WHAC Tournament. The Blue Devils are a game behind the Warriors, and both team would benefit massively from a win. 

WARRIORS MAKING RETURN TO FORM

Rochester has found its stride again on the offensive end, returning to scoring the ball at an efficient clip in the last two games. For the Warriors, several players will look to contribute at a high level and help Rochester secure their second win of the season against Lawrence Tech.

#7 Lourdes leads the way with a lone loss to Lawrence Tech. Madonna trails in second, while Indiana Tech is in third. Currently, the Warriors are tied with the red-hot Cornerstone Golden Eagles in fourth.
