THE RUNDOWN

FIRST HALF

  • The Warriors fell behind to the Racers early, following a goal in the first thirty seconds of the game. The Racers applied lots of offensive pressure on the Warriors, getting off 15 shots. The Racers scored two goals following a tap-in opportunity in the 27th minute to take a 2-0 lead. The Warriors had a shot with three minutes remaining that was saved

SECOND HALF

  • The Warriors began to build a response early in the second half, and drew a penalty shot that Ivan Stojanovic would score to cut the lead to one. However, the Racers added two goals in two minutes midway through the second half, and tacked on one more with 12 minutes remaining. RCU's Josh Grow scored the game's final goal with just under six minutes remaining
