WARRIORS COMPETE IN INDOOR T&F CHAMPIONSHIPS; HOLT AND SHAW SEEK ALL-AMERICAN STATUS

MADISON, S.D. - Julian Holt and Alec Shaw will begin competing in the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships at Dakota State University on Friday, March 1. The pair seek their first NAIA All-American selections after highly successful regular seasons.

Shaw competes in two events, the Men's Mile and 800m, starting with the Mile at 12:20 p.m., then competing in the 800m at 3 p.m. This is Shaw's second appearance at a NAIA National event, and the junior enters with plenty of momentum after setting the WHAC record in the Mile and achieving A standards in both events.

Holt, a sophomore, makes his first appearance on the big stage after a phenomenal regular season, placing first in each meet he competed in for the Men's High Jump. Holt competes in the preliminary and final rounds at 2 p.m.

The Warrior program aims to have their second and third NAIA All-Americans in program history after high jumper Andre Daniels earned the honor during the Men's High Jump in 2022-23.
