Rochester Christian University Names Tate Kwaiser Head Coach of Track & Field

(Rochester Hills, MI) - Rochester Christian University has announced the hiring of Tate Kwaiser as the program's next Head Coach of Track & Field, bringing a strong blend of collegiate coaching experience and competitive success to the Warriors' track & field and cross country programs.

"Joining RCU is a true blessing, I'm excited to get to work and lead the track program to continued success", said new head coach Tate Kwaiser. 

Kwaiser arrives at RCU after serving as an assistant coach at Eastern Michigan University, where he worked primarily with the sprints program. In that role, he supported athlete development in short sprints and relays, adding Division I experience and a day-to-day understanding of high-performance training environments.

As a student-athlete, Kwaiser built a collegiate career that reflects both versatility and growth. He began his undergraduate career at the University of Detroit Mercy before transferring to Queens University of Charlotte, where he continued to develop as a sprinter and relay contributor, while training under former USA Gold Medalist, Bianca Knight. He was a member of Queens' 2025 ASUN Outdoor Championship 4x400-meter relay team, earning a bronze medal.

At Rochester Christian, Kwaiser will lead the continued development of the Warriors' track & field program, with an emphasis on building a competitive training environment and investing in the growth of student-athletes on and off the track.
