Warrior Athletics is excited to announce the hire of Pablo Sanchez as the Head Men’s Volleyball coach ahead of their inaugural season of play in 2026. 

Sanchez, a native of Neuquén, Argentina, had a four-year career, playing in 83 matches, at Goshen College as a member of their men’s volleyball program. In addition to his playing days at Goshen, he was a student manager for their women’s volleyball team where he coached on the defensive side of the ball. 

“I am excited to be joining RCU Volleyball as the men’s head coach. This is a wonderful opportunity in my career and I will give my best to this program. I look forward to meeting all of our players for our first official season as a Men’s Volleyball team. I am very passionate about Volleyball and I am honored to be a part of this growing program.”

In addition to his time at Goshen, Sanchez was a 1-on-1 coach in Argentina coaching players from the Women’s Volleyball U16 and U18 teams. Prior to that he helped introduce kids to Volleyball at Velez Sarfield, which is one of the most prestigious volleyball clubs in Argentina. 

Senior Women Leader and Head Women’s Volleyball coach Juliana Nash had this to say regarding Sanchez - "I am very excited about Coach Sanchez and the passion he will bring to this growing program! He has great experience and knowledge in WHAC Men's Volleyball and will use that to help us succeed in our first year competing in the conference. I firmly believe that Coach Sanchez will be a great leader to these men on and off the court due to his character and strong faith in our Lord. We can't wait to see what he will do here at RCU."
