Women's Basketball heading to Rio Grande for NAIA First Round
(Kansas City, KS) - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the qualifiers for the 2026 NAIA Women's Basketball First & Second Round presented by Ballogy.
Rochester Christian's women's basketball team earned an autobid into the tournament by being the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament runner-ups.
The Warriors will be making their fourth-ever appearance in the National Tournament, having made the first three appearances in the 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023 seasons.
The Warriors will be a 15 seed coming into the tournament, and will take on the second-seeded Rio Grande in the first round when the tournament begins on March 13. The winner of this matchup will then take on the winner of #7 Cumberlands (KY) and #10 Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday, March 14.
The winner of the site bracket will then advance to the NAIA Championship final site at the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa.
