WARRIORS COMPLETE JOE BANKS AND TIFFIN INVITES; ELLER CONTINUES RECORD-SETTING SEASON

The Warriors have continued to push through the 2023-24 Indoor Track & Field season, finishing up the Joe Banks and Tiffin Invitationals ahead of the upcoming 2024 WHAC Championships in Grand Rapids. Junior Heather Eller has continued her great 2024 campaign, setting school records in multiple events for the Warriors. 

JOE BANKS INVITATIONAL - FEB. 2

Eller headlined for the Warriors in the Joe Banks Invitational, setting the program record in the Women's 1k at 3:13.64. Fellow runner Erin Norton earned the highest placement in an event on the day, recording an 11:52.15 in the Women's 3k. As a program, the Warriors set 14 season and 11 career PRs, with Gina Collins leading the way in the Women's 800m with a time of 2:40.41. 

TIFFIN INVITATIONAL - FEB. 10  

Eller set another program record, this time in the Women's 3k, with a time of 10:57.88 to place first in the event. Norton and Kirsten Schapman joined Eller with top-five finishes, with Schapman placing third in the Women's Triple Jump, measuring 10.80m. For Norton, she'd place fifth in the Women's Mile, recording a 5:49.68.

The Warriors compete in the WHAC Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, Feb. 16, at Aquinas College.
