WOMEN'S WHAC CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS; SCHAPMAN EARNS SECOND TEAM NOD

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Warriors had a strong weekend headlined by senior Kirsten Schapman's second-place finish in the Women's Triple Jump at the 2024 WHAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. Schapman's measurement of 10.99m secured her the first All-Conference mention of her career. 

As a team, the Warriors placed sixth in the event, scoring 21 points and tying Concordia.

Also producing a strong day was junior Heather Eller, who produced two top-six finishes in her events. Eller placed fourth in the Women's 1000m with a time of 3:12.51 and placed sixth in the Women's 5000m with a time of 19:07.45. In the Women's 1 Mile, senior Aleah Dymond placed seventh with a time of 5:31.74.

Seven Warriors were named to the WHAC's All-Academic Team:

Aleah Dymond was named the Warriors' Champions of Character representative.
