Bio

Beach currently serves as Chair of the Sport Management program at Rochester Christian University and brings more than a decade of experience in athletic administration, leadership development, and interscholastic athletics. In 2026, he was recognized nationally as a finalist for the NILvana Sport Management Professor of the Year award. He was also named the 2017 Varsity Brands National Athletic Director of the Year and recognized in the 2018 Coach and AD Magazine 40 Under 40.

Prior to joining Rochester Christian University, Beach served as Athletic Director at Rochester High School, where he developed a culture centered on academic excellence, leadership, and student-athlete success. Before his time at Rochester, he served as Assistant Athletic Director at Oxford High School.

During his tenure at Rochester, athletic programs captured numerous league, district, regional, and state championships while also significantly increasing the number of Academic All-State teams and MHSAA Scholar-Athlete finalists.

Beach also created and implemented leadership initiatives including the Rochester Captains Club and the Women in Leadership Lecture Series, both designed to foster character development, service, and leadership among student-athletes. In addition, he has served on several athletic committees and professional organizations throughout Michigan.

A native of Chesapeake, Beach earned his Bachelor of Education and Master of Science in Athletic Administration from Ohio University and is currently pursuing his doctorate at American University. He resides in Rochester Hills, Michigan, with his wife, Karen, and daughter, Rosalie.
