MEN'S SOCCER DEFEATED 7-2 AGAINST LAWRENCE TECH
Men's soccer (2-3-2, 0-1-1) was handed a heavy loss on Wednesday afternoon, being defeated by Lawrence Tech (7-1-1, 1-0-1) 7-2. After only allowing a goal in the first half, Rochester was unable to find an answer for the Blue Devils on the defensive end, with Lawrence Tech scoring six goals to control the game.

WASHINGTON, MI - Men's soccer (2-3-2, 0-1-1) was handed a heavy loss on Wednesday afternoon, being defeated by Lawrence Tech (7-1-1, 1-0-1) 7-2. After only allowing a goal in the first half, Rochester was unable to find an answer for the Blue Devils on the defensive end, with Lawrence Tech scoring six goals to control the game.
The first half was even shots-wise for both teams, but Lawrence Tech would jump out to an early 1-0 advantage by taking advantage of an errant pass at the Warriors' end of the pitch. Rochester's Nemanja Adamovic and Ellis Jones would both get shots on goal but were halted by great saves from the Blue Devils' keeper.
Early in the second half, Rochester was able to get a tap-in goal from senior Dmitar Stankovic to tie the game at 1-1. However, things would go off the rails for Rochester from there, with the Blue Devils scoring six goals in the half. A bright spot for Rochester was a goal by senior Nik Gjonaj, who struck a beautiful shot from outside the box.
Despite the goal, Rochester would be defeated 7-2.

The Warriors will look to pick up the pieces on Saturday when the team takes on Indiana Tech in Fort Wayne at 1 p.m.
